Yaacov Agam, Israeli kinetic art pioneer and Dizengoff Square fountain creator, dies at 98
Israeli painter and sculptor Yaacov Agam, a winner of the Israel Prize for Plastic Arts, has died at the age of 98. Agam received the award this year at age 97, capping a long career that made him one of Israel’s best known and most successful artists abroad.
