אד שירן: "מה שקרה ב-7 באוקטובר היה מחריד"

הזמר הבריטי אד שירן התייחס לראשונה לאירועי ה-7 באוקטובר, ותיאר אותם כ"מחרידים". שירן, שזכה בעבר לביקורת על כך שלא התייחס לאירועים, אמר כי הוא "לא יכול לדמיין את הכאב" של משפחות החטופים והנרצחים.

במהלך ראיון שהתקיים לאחרונה, שירן נשאל על אירועי ה-7 באוקטובר, והשיב: "מה שקרה ב-7 באוקטובר היה מחריד. אני לא יכול לדמיין את הכאב שמשפחות החטופים והנרצחים עוברות. אני חושב שזה נורא, וזה פשוט נורא". הוא הוסיף כי הוא "מקווה לשלום" וכי הוא "מקווה שזה ייגמר בקרוב".

הזמר, ששירו "Jerusalem of Gold" זכה להצלחה בישראל, הוסיף כי הוא "אוהב את ישראל" וכי הוא "מקווה לבקר בה שוב בקרוב".
