פעוט כבן שנתיים נפצע באורח אנוש לאחר שנפל מגובה רב בקריית ים. חובשים ופראמדיקים של מד"א העניקו לו טיפול רפואי במקום, ופינו אותו לבית החולים רמב"ם תוך כדי פעולות החייאה. משה אמסלם, חובש רפואת חירום מיחידת האופנועים של מד"א, סיפר כי הילד שכב מחוסר הכרה, ללא דופק וללא נשימה. "מיד התחלנו בביצוע טיפול רפואי שכלל עיסויים, הנשמות ומתן תרופות ופינינו אותו בניידת טיפול נמרץ של מד"א לבית החולים כשמצבו אנוש ואנחנו ממשיכים להילחם על חייו", הוסיף אמסלם.
