Vizhnitz Celebrates Granddaughter's Engagement in New Hall
The Vizhnitz Hasidic dynasty celebrated the engagement of the Rebbe's granddaughter this week with great splendor. The bride is the daughter of Rabbi Yaakov Mordechai Hager, head of the Vizhnitz rabbinical court in Elad. The groom is the grandson of Rabbi Eliezer Arnstein, rabbi of Kiryat Maoz Chaim in Safed, and Rabbi Chaim Halperin, rabbi of the 'Divrei Chaim' community in Golders Green, London.
The celebration took place in the newly inaugurated "Heichal Ditza Ve'chedva" hall, located in the Vizhnitz building. The hall was a donation from Rabbi Nachman Mendel, in memory of his late wife.
During the event, the Vizhnitz Rebbe actively encouraged the singing and music. He particularly emphasized a well-known joyous melody with the words 'Le'hiyot Besimcha Tamid' (To Always Be Happy). The Rebbe alluded that this song signifies the year 5787 (2026-2027).
