דובר צה"ל דחה בתוקף את הטענות שהועלו בסרטון חדש, וטען כי הוא מהווה הסתה ללא בסיס עובדתי מוכח. "אנו שלמים עם התהליכים המבצעיים שלנו", נמסר מהצבא, תוך הדגשה כי הסרטון אינו בגדר ביקורת אלא הסתה. צה"ל הוסיף כי יש להעמיד לדין את יוצרי הסרטון בגין הסתה.

התגובה הצבאית באה בעקבות פרסום סרטון המעלה טענות נגד פעולות צה"ל. פרשנים צבאיים וגורמים נוספים הביעו דעות שונות בנוגע לסרטון ולתגובת הצבא, כאשר חלקם תומכים בעמדת צה"ל ורואים בסרטון ניסיון להכפשה, בעוד אחרים קוראים לבחון את הטענות לעומקן.
