IDF Rejects Claims in 'NezA' Film, Chief of Staff to Discuss Response
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has categorically rejected claims made in the film 'NezA,' stating that the allegations are entirely unfounded. In a statement, the military spokesperson's office explained that quoted assertions regarding national and military strategy are clearly beyond the knowledge of junior soldiers. The IDF also noted that intelligence personnel, allegedly interviewed in the film, are by definition not involved in the situations described.
Regarding claims about the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in selecting targets for elimination, the IDF clarified that all decisions and approvals for strikes are made exclusively by human personnel in accordance with IDF directives. The military emphasized that no AI is involved in the decision-making process for attacks.
Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi is scheduled to hold a discussion today to determine the appropriate response to the allegations presented in the film. The meeting will address how the IDF will formally react to the content of 'NezA.'
