Border Police Find Stolen Cars Before Jewish New Year Holiday

The story · English

Border Police officers operating in the West Bank village of Al-Ram, near Jerusalem, located two stolen Toyota vehicles on Friday evening, just before the start of the Jewish New Year holiday. The officers, from the Border Police's Judea and Samaria (Yo"sh) division, were acting on intelligence indicating the presence of stolen vehicles in the area.

Upon searching the location, the officers identified the two Toyotas, which had been reported stolen from the central region of Israel within the past month. The vehicles were recovered from the scene and transferred to the Binyamin police station for further processing, with the aim of returning them to their rightful owners.

Crucially, the officers managed to contact the owners of the vehicles and inform them of the recovery just moments before the holiday began. The operation was documented by police, with footage released showing the officers updating the vehicle owners.
