מפלגת עוצמה יהודית הגישה לוועדת הבחירות המרכזית בקשה לפסול את מפלגת הדמוקרטים מהתמודדות בבחירות לכנסת ה-26. עילת הבקשה היא "הסתה לגזענות".

המהלך מגיע בתגובה לבקשה דומה שהגישה מפלגת הדמוקרטים נגד עוצמה יהודית. הדמוקרטים טענו כי עוצמה יהודית פוגעת בדמוקרטיה ושוללת את קיומה של מדינת ישראל כמדינה דמוקרטית, תוך שהם מזכירים בשמם את חברי הכנסת איתמר בן גביר וטלי גוטליב.
