British Jewish Man Found Dead in Uman Forest Near Rabbi Nachman's Tomb

A British Jewish man, approximately 45 years old, was found dead in a forest near the tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov in Uman, Ukraine, on the first day of Rosh Hashanah. Ukrainian police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of his death, with suspicions of murder being considered. The man was discovered by Hasidim who were in the forest for spiritual seclusion. They alerted rescue services and police, who arrived at the scene and pronounced him dead. The United Hatzalah volunteer emergency medical service confirmed that the case is under investigation. Aharon Ben Harush, the head of the Uman delegation for United Hatzalah, stated that the circumstances are being examined and that the organization is working with authorities to expedite the release of the body for burial.
