כ-50 אלף ישראלים ניצלו את מזג האוויר הנוח בשבת האחרונה וביקרו בשמורות הטבע והגנים הלאומיים ברחבי הארץ. מרשות הטבע והגנים נמסר כי האתרים שמשכו את המספר הרב ביותר של מבקרים כללו את שמורת חוף דור-הבונים, תל אשקלון, עין חמד וגן לאומי ירקון (תל אפק).

בנוסף, כ-2,600 מטיילים בחרו ללון בערב החג בחניוני הלילה של הרשות. חניוני הלילה הפופולריים ביותר היו חורשת טל וחוף אכזיב, מה שמעיד על העדפה לבילוי לילי בטבע.
