שר החינוך יואב קיש קרא למצביעי ימין להימנע מהצבעה למפלגות שאינן עוברות את אחוז החסימה, וטען כי הצבעה כזו מהווה בזבוז קולות. בשיחה עם אתר 'כיכר השבת' לאחר הגשת הרשימות לכנסת, הדגיש קיש כי ההתלבטות של מצביע ימין אינה בין מפלגות שונות במחנה, אלא בין הצבעה לליכוד או למפלגות ימין אחרות שיש להן סיכוי ריאלי להיבחר.

קיש הוסיף כי אסור לאנשי ימין להצביע למפלגת 'וינטר', וכי יש לרכז את הקולות במפלגות שיש להן סיכוי לעבור את אחוז החסימה. דבריו נאמרו לאחר שהגיש את רשימת הליכוד לכנסת.
