Likud Minister Yoav Kisch Urges Right-Wing Voters to Back Parties Above Threshold

Minister of Education Yoav Kisch has urged right-wing voters to cast their ballots for parties likely to pass the electoral threshold, warning against voting for smaller factions that may not gain representation. Speaking to Kikar HaShabbat after the submission of party lists for the upcoming election, Kisch stated, "If you are a right-wing voter, your choice is not between [Otzma Yehudit leader Itamar] Ben Gvir and [National Unity leader Benny] Gantz. You must vote for Likud, or certainly for parties that pass the electoral threshold in the right-wing camp."

Kisch specifically advised against voting for Avi Maoz's Noam party, which is part of the Religious Zionism bloc, though he did not name the party directly. He emphasized that votes for parties that fail to clear the 4-seat threshold would be wasted and effectively benefit the left-wing bloc. Earlier, while submitting the Likud party list, Kisch had declared, "Right-wing people must not vote for the Otzma Yehudit party," referring to the party led by Itamar Ben Gvir, which is running separately from the National Religious Party in the upcoming elections.
