מפלגת 'הציבור החרדי' החדשה הגישה את רשימתה לכנסת ה-26. בראש הרשימה עומד מוטי לייטנר, ולצידו ברביעייה הראשונה נמצאים אשר פרדי, ד"ר נחומי יפה וזיווה גלאנץ. גלאנץ היא האישה הראשונה ברביעייה הראשונה של מפלגה חרדית, מה שמבדיל אותה ממפלגות חרדיות קיימות.

לייטנר הצהיר כי המפלגה מציעה אלטרנטיבה לציבור החרדי שהצביע בעבר לש"ס, שלדבריו הפכה ל"סניף של בריוני הפלג שצועקים בראש חוצות 'נמות ולא נתגייס'". הוא הוסיף כי המפלגה מציעה "תקווה ועתיד לציבור החרדי".
