גבר בן 54, תושב ג'נין, נורה למוות לפנות בוקר (שישי) סמוך לכניסה לכפר ענתא שבמזרח ירושלים. דובר המשטרה הפלסטינית, לואי ארזיקת, מסר כי הפרקליטות והמשטרה פתחו בחקירה של האירוע. גופת הנרצח הועברה למכון לרפואה משפטית לצורך נתיחה וקביעת סיבת המוות.
