The operation, stemming from an initiative by detectives from the Lev Tel Aviv station in the Yarkon district against drug trafficking, was conducted under a court order.
During the search, officers observed a commercial vehicle and numerous cartons nearby. A search of the vehicle and its surroundings yielded the large quantity of suspected cannabis, about 13 grams of suspected cocaine, approximately 21,000 shekels in cash, the commercial vehicle, and four mobile phones. The drugs were reportedly divided into large quantities, believed to be intended for trafficking.
