Elderly Driver Arrested After Fatal Hit-and-Run in Tel Aviv
An 80-year-old driver has been arrested by police in Tel Aviv following a fatal hit-and-run incident. The suspect was taken for questioning.
The accident occurred on the morning of September 2nd on Bnei Ephraim Street in Tel Aviv. The driver struck an elderly woman, approximately 80 years old, who was crossing the road. After the collision, the driver fled the scene.
The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition but succumbed to her injuries. The road police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
