Barak Ravid tells CNN about Yinon Magal’s attack on Trump aides

Barak Ravid, the Israel-based reporter for Channel 12 and Axios, discussed Israeli media coverage of the Iran nuclear deal during an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and brought up a post by Yinnon Magal attacking senior Trump administration figures.

Ravid said Magal, whom he described as one of the TV personalities closest to Benjamin Netanyahu, works at Channel 14, which he called “Bibi’s channel.” According to Ravid, Magal published a highly inflammatory post referring to Trump envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff as “little Jews” and calling Vice President J.D. Vance “scum.”

The comments Ravid cited were written as Magal reacted to the emerging deal with Iran. In the post, Magal said Trump “came out a loser,” blamed Kushner and Witkoff for being influenced by Qatar, and accused Vance of helping them. He also attacked Gulf states, saying they were willing to pay Iran billions just to restore calm.

Magal continued that Israel was “left alone,” said it would “win alone,” and urged continued fighting in Lebanon, retaliation against anyone who fires at Israel, and attacks on threats. He ended by praising the government and its leader, writing, “Bibi, go to sleep! Tomorrow is a new day! We are behind you.”
