During a heated on-air exchange at Radio 103FM, Israeli media figures Yinon Magal and Eyal Berkowitz clashed over Donald Trump’s emerging deal with Iran. The confrontation centered on Berkowitz’s argument that the deal is driving a wedge between Israel and the United States. He told Magal, “You are creating a dispute between Israel and the United States. You are weakening us. The world cannot stand us anyway, the only one that loves us is the United States. You come and create discord.”
Magal responded that if Benjamin Netanyahu had “caved,” he would have criticized him too, but said Trump had done so instead. He defended his criticism by saying, “With all due respect to Trump, I love him, I praised him and applauded him, I danced and sang in the studio when he was elected, but to do something like this and I should stay silent?”
Berkowitz countered that Magal was going too far by calling Trump a “loser” and accused him of lacking gratitude. He then told Magal to call Trump and apologize, saying he should tell him he appreciates what he is doing for Israel, and even suggested inviting Trump onto the show “Patriotim.” Magal replied that he dislikes the way Trump speaks to Netanyahu and said, “I am not taking it back.”
