Yinon Magal Says the Left Is Using the Trump Deal to Attack Netanyahu
Yinon Magal, host of Israel’s Channel 14 program "The Patriots," said Monday night that left-wing critics are exploiting what he called Donald Trump’s "bad deal" to mount a political attack on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Magal argued that the critics have no real arguments against Netanyahu’s actions and kept pressing them to identify concrete mistakes. "There is no discussion," he said on air, adding that whenever he asks what they would have done differently, they cannot answer where Netanyahu erred.
He cited several examples of Netanyahu’s decisions, including "With the strength of a lion," "Roar of the Lion," cooperating with Trump in a joint strike, entering Lebanon, and entering Rafah. He said opponents should be able to point to specific failures in those moves.
Magal also suggested the same people would have called such actions "betrayal" if the political roles were reversed. He ended by asking, "Is he guilty that Trump did it? Is he guilty now? I don’t understand. Say something, give me something."
