Jerusalem Nadvorna Rebbe Honors Donors with Relics at Ancient Synagogue

Chassidim of the Jerusalem Nadvorna community in Beitar Illit gathered at the ancient synagogue in Motza for a ceremony marking the upcoming construction of a permanent study hall and ritual bath. The event featured Rabbi Pinchas Breuer, an educator, who spoke about the importance of a spiritual center for future generations. The Rebbe of Jerusalem Nadvorna appeared, wearing his father's kapote and using parts of his grandfather's kittel to create white girdles for donors. These girdles were presented to those who contributed financially to the building project. Musicians played melodies of the High Holidays while rare videos of the Rebbe's father, the "Be'er Yaakov," were shown. The community rabbi, Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Rosenberg, the Rebbe's son, praised the efforts of the "court" administrators. The Rebbe delivered a central address emphasizing the significance of building the study hall, incorporating his father's teachings on the necessity of a "shtibel" (small synagogue or study hall) for scholars. To conclude, the Rebbe presented each scholar with an ornate knife engraved with his blessing as a token of appreciation for their commitment. The Rebbe invited his son, the community rabbi, to recite the Grace After Meals.
