Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Leak Reveals Major Camera Design Overhaul and Features

Detailed CAD drawings and 3D renderings of Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S27 Ultra, have leaked online, offering an early look at significant design changes. The leak, published by AndroidHeadlines and sourced from renowned tipster OnLeaks, likely originates from accessory manufacturers preparing for mass production. The most notable change is the rear camera setup, which abandons the traditional vertical lens array in favor of a wide, raised camera plateau reminiscent of Apple's iPhone Pro models. This new design accommodates advanced internal cooling components and integrates magnetic wireless charging using the new Qi2 standard to manage heat from AI processors.

Another surprising update is the removal of the dedicated telephoto lens, a 10-megapixel 3x zoom camera, which Samsung will replace with digital cropping from the powerful 200-megapixel main sensor. This move is expected to free internal space and help control rising production costs, potentially preventing a price increase for consumers.
