Suspect to Be Charged Soon in Lawyer Arbel Feldman's Murder in Rishon Lezion
The murder of lawyer Arbel Feldman, who was shot dead in his Rishon Lezion office earlier this month, has been solved. The suspect, a man in his 20s from Ashdod known to the victim, allegedly arrived at Feldman's office, shot him multiple times, and fled the scene. Feldman was found dead at the location by police responding to an emergency call on August 4.
Following an intensive investigation led by the Central Unit of the Shfela region under the direction of Central District Commander Amir Cohen, the suspect surrendered after a police manhunt involving operational, intelligence, and technological efforts. He was subsequently arrested and his detention extended as the investigation progressed.
Today, the prosecution filed an indictment declaration against the suspect, and a formal indictment is expected to be submitted in the coming days. The Central District Prosecutor's Office will also request that the suspect remain in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
