Man Charged with Murder of Lawyer Arbel Feldman in Rishon Lezion Office Shooting

The Central District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment declaration on Monday against Ahmad Al-Rajoub, a 23-year-old from Ramla, suspected of murdering lawyer Arbel Feldman at his office on Moshe Levi Street in Rishon Lezion. In the coming days, a serious indictment and a request for detention until the end of proceedings are expected to be submitted against him.

The investigation by the Central District Police revealed that Al-Rajoub, a client of Feldman who was apparently dissatisfied with the legal services he received, arrived at the lawyer's office armed with a pistol, entered the premises, and opened fire in front of witnesses. Feldman's partner, who found him shot and bleeding, testified that he heard explosions and saw Feldman injured. Paramedics who arrived at the scene pronounced Feldman dead on site.

Following the murder, dozens of lawyers gathered at the Tel Aviv District Court plaza for two minutes of silence in memory of Feldman and to protest the rising violence. Amit Bechar, head of the Israel Bar Association, described the incident as a "black flag" and emphasized that the association will continue to fight to ensure lawyers' safety and uphold the rule of law.
