Guy Badash Set to Join Hapoel Petah Tikva
Guy Badash has agreed terms with Hapoel Petah Tikva, even though he is still under contract with Hapoel Jerusalem. The right winger is expected to leave Jerusalem and move on to his next destination ahead of the upcoming season.
Badash first joined Hapoel Jerusalem in October 2020 and helped the club win promotion to the Israeli Premier League. He was one of the team’s key players in its first two seasons in the top flight.
In summer 2023, Badash signed with Hapoel Be’er Sheva after an impressive year in Jerusalem. After failing to establish himself there in his first season, he returned last summer to Hapoel Jerusalem, where he had previously spent time on loan.
This season, Badash made 31 appearances, scored four goals and added two assists. It was a weaker campaign for the team as a whole, and the Reds avoided relegation only in the closing rounds.
