Guy Badash reaches agreement to join Hapoel Petah Tikva
Guy Badash, the right winger for Hapoel Jerusalem, has agreed terms with Hapoel Petah Tikva for next season, even though he is still under contract with Jerusalem. The move would take him away from the capital club after two separate spells there.
Badash first arrived at Hapoel Jerusalem in October 2020 and helped the team win promotion to the Israeli Premier League. He then became one of the club’s key players in its first two seasons in the top flight.
In summer 2023, after an impressive season in Jerusalem, he signed with Hapoel Be'er Sheva. After failing to establish himself there in his first year, he returned last summer to Hapoel Jerusalem, where he had previously also been on loan.
This season, Badash made 31 appearances, scored four goals and added two assists. It was a weaker year for the team as a whole, with the Red team only securing survival in the closing rounds of the season.
