Tiberias Players Suspended for Three Months After Doping Settlement
The Israeli Sports Anti-Doping Committee has reached a settlement with three players from Ironi Tiberias football club regarding a doping violation involving intravenous infusions. The players involved are Guy Hadida, David Kaltins, and Niv Gottlieb. The committee found that the players violated the agency's regulations, which are based on WADA rules, by receiving liquid infusions at the club's facility.
Under the settlement submitted to the Israeli Sports Doping Tribunal, each player received an eight-month suspension starting July 5, 2026. However, due to their full cooperation with the agency, five months of the suspension were deducted, resulting in an effective ban of three months. This means the players will be eligible to return to play in October 2026.
