Experts Advise on Choosing the Right Laptop for Back-to-School Season

As the summer break ends, experts from GoMobile and iDigital have outlined key factors for selecting a suitable laptop for students returning to school and university. They emphasize considering the laptop's weight, especially within a budget of up to 3,000 shekels, noting that some models weigh over 1.7 kilograms while others are lighter. Battery life and screen quality are also crucial, alongside ensuring the device includes at least a 1080p camera, microphones, and speakers to support video calls.

Additionally, some laptops operate without fans, which helps reduce noise during heavy use, a feature highlighted by the experts. This advice comes as the back-to-school equipment market in Israel is projected to reach approximately 421 million shekels this year, according to CofaceBDi data reported by Maariv on August 16.

These recommendations aim to help students and parents make informed decisions when purchasing laptops for the upcoming academic year, balancing performance, portability, and communication needs.
