Israeli Border Police Arrest Suspect With 162 Kg of Stolen Avocados Near Yesodot
Israeli Border Police fighters from the Central Region's Settlement Branch arrested a suspect near the settlement of Yesodot in the Nahal Sorek Regional Council area during an operation targeting agricultural theft. The police discovered approximately 162 kilograms of avocados in the trunk of a suspicious vehicle. The produce was identified by a local representative as a variety grown in the agricultural lands of the settlement. The suspect, found near the vehicle, was detained and transferred for further investigation. The vehicle and the stolen avocados were confiscated, and the investigation is ongoing under the Central Region Border Police Unit.
