Israeli Border Police Arrest Suspect with 162 Kg of Stolen Avocados Near Yesodot
Israeli Border Police officers arrested a suspect after discovering 162 kilograms of avocados suspected to be stolen in the trunk of his vehicle. The operation took place near the settlement of Yesodot in the Nahal Sorek Regional Council area. During a routine patrol along agricultural paths, officers identified a suspicious vehicle and upon inspection found the large quantity of avocados in the trunk. A representative from the settlement was called to the scene and confirmed that the avocados were of a variety grown in the settlement's agricultural lands. The suspect was detained for further investigation.
