Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 17 Pro Max with Record Battery and Extreme Durability
Xiaomi has announced the global launch of its Redmi Note 17 series, introducing a powerful new model, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. This flagship of the mid-range lineup features a groundbreaking 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, the largest ever in the Redmi series, supporting 100W HyperCharge fast charging. The device also boasts exceptional physical durability, meeting stringent TÜV SÜD five-star standards, including resistance to drops from three meters and extreme water and dust protection with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max sports a 6.83-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 3,500 nits, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor and offers up to 24GB of combined memory (12GB physical RAM plus 12GB virtual RAM). The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP front-facing camera.
Xiaomi has also enhanced the phone's design with a "Cloud Blush" photoreactive finish that changes color in sunlight, alongside black, green, and purple options. The company promises a smooth and stable software experience, backed by a two-year warranty, free screen replacement within two years, and free battery replacement within three years.
The global rollout begins today in Malaysia and select markets, with an official launch event scheduled for August 27. Following this, the Redmi Note 17 series, including the Note 17 and Note 17 Pro, will be available in Israel, offering consumers a robust and high-capacity alternative in the mid-range smartphone segment.
