Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is currently holding a critical meeting with Jared Kushner, senior advisor and son-in-law to former U.S. President Donald Trump, who is responsible for implementing the plan to disarm Gaza and halt the conflict. According to multiple Arab media reports, Kushner committed before arriving in Israel to exert pressure on Netanyahu and Israeli decision-makers to approve the entry of the Expert Council for Gaza management, despite Israeli opposition to any moves before Gaza's disarmament begins. Kushner reportedly assured the heads of the technocratic council managing Gaza that he would push Israel as much as possible to allow their access. The meeting, which also includes the CEO of the Peace Council, has been ongoing for an extended period.
