Released just three weeks after the previous version, Gemini 3.7 Flash is described by Google as its "smartest workhorse" yet, excelling in software engineering, web development, and complex document analysis. The model achieved a 65.3% success rate in real-world software problem-solving tests, up from 49% in the prior generation, and can generate complete user interfaces and applications from single instructions with high accuracy.

A key highlight for developers and businesses is the model’s cost reduction, now offered at half the price of its predecessor, with rates of $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens. Gemini 3.7 Flash powers the personal AI agent Gemini Spark, available to AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in over 160 countries. This agent operates continuously, assisting with tasks such as drafting emails and organizing files within Google Workspace. The model also demonstrates advanced document processing, capable of transforming dense PDFs in legal, financial, and biological fields into interactive web pages with live charts.

Google showcased multimodal capabilities by integrating Gemini 3.7 Flash with Nano Banana to create real-time 3D games from text descriptions and to train robotics models. Additionally, users can now toggle visible watermarks on AI-generated images, videos, and music, while invisible SynthID and C2PA metadata watermarks remain embedded for security. Google has implemented strict safeguards in the model to prevent misuse in cyberattacks and biological threats.
