Israeli Gymnast Daniela Munitz Finishes Seventh in World All-Around Final
Israeli rhythmic gymnast Daniela Munitz secured seventh place in the all-around final at the World Championships held in Frankfurt on August 14, 2026. Munitz achieved a total score of 115.650 points across four apparatuses, delivering impressive routines throughout both the qualification rounds and the final. Her individual scores included 30.500 for hoop, 27.750 for ball, 30.050 for clubs, and 27.350 for ribbon. Another Israeli gymnast, Mitel Somkin, qualified for the all-around final from 14th place and finished 17th overall with 106.650 points. Both gymnasts are supported by coaches Ayelet Zusman and Julieta Kantelopi, physiotherapist Natali Bartler, and judge Ela Samoplov.
Avi Shagai, chairman of the Israeli Gymnastics Federation, praised the achievement, calling it a significant milestone for Israeli gymnastics.
