Israeli Rhythmic Gymnast Daniela Munits Debuts at World Championships in Frankfurt
Daniela Munits became the first Israeli representative to compete at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships held in Frankfurt. On Wednesday morning, she opened the Israeli delegation's participation by performing two preliminary routines: hoop and ball. Munits scored 29.450 points for her hoop routine and 26.900 points for the ball routine. She is scheduled to complete the qualification phase tomorrow with clubs and ribbon routines. After two days of qualifications, the all-around rankings will be determined, along with the eight gymnasts who will advance to the finals on each apparatus.
Later on Wednesday, another Israeli gymnast, Meital Maayan Somkin, will begin her competition with the clubs and ribbon qualifications. The individual gymnasts’ team is supported by coaches Ayelet Zusman and Julieta Kantelopi, physiotherapist Natali Bartler, and judge Ela Samoplov.
