Upper Galilee Beats Ra'anana 60-50 and Moves Closer to Survival

Hapoel Upper Galilee defeated Maccabi Ra'anana 60-50 in the bottom group of the Israeli Basketball Premier League on June 14, 2026, reversing the outcome of the teams' meeting five days earlier in MetroWest, when Ra'anana won 81-64. The result lifts Upper Galilee to 21-9, ahead of Ra'anana at 21-8, a significant swing in the relegation battle.

The earlier loss had pushed Upper Galilee below the safety line, but Idan Avshalom's team is now back above it and controls its own fate with two rounds left.
