Additionally, Apple encourages users to seek professional help, such as the free 24/7 support hotline provided by the nonprofit Access Now.

Beyond those targeted, Apple reminds all users to maintain basic security hygiene: regularly update iOS to the latest version with security patches, secure devices with passcodes or biometric authentication, enable two-factor authentication, and use strong, unique passwords for Apple accounts. Users should also activate the feature to protect lost or stolen devices, only download apps from the official App Store, and avoid opening suspicious links or attachments.
