Importer Recalls Turkish Vanilla Meringue Candy Over Undeclared Allergens
The importer V.I.A.L.I Global Ltd. has initiated a voluntary recall of the 25-gram packages of "Vanilla Meringue Kisses with Colorful Candies and Dairy Coating," produced in Turkey by Bitat Dis Ticaret Limited Sirketi. The recall follows the discovery that the product's allergen labeling is inaccurate, as milk and soy allergens were omitted from the packaging. The affected product carries the barcode 8680902036424 and includes all expiration dates up to and including February 4, 2027.
Consumers allergic to milk, soy, or any other allergens listed on the label are strongly advised not to consume the product. The importer is collecting the recalled items from distribution channels in coordination with the Food Service of the Ministry of Health's Central District. For public inquiries, consumers can contact the importer at 054-6508771.
