IDF says it is preparing for possible incoming fire in the coming hours
Following strikes in Beirut’s Dahieh neighborhood, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir held continuous situational assessments with all relevant commanders, the military said. According to the IDF spokesperson, based on those assessments, the army is preparing for the possibility of fire toward Israeli territory in the coming hours.
The military said there is no change at this time to Home Front Command instructions. If that changes, the public will be updated accordingly. The IDF added that it “will not accept fire toward the territory of the State of Israel.”
