Israeli Police Prepare for Ultra-Orthodox Protest in Bnei Brak, Highway 4 May Be Closed

Israeli police are preparing for a planned protest by ultra-Orthodox extremists in the Bnei Brak area, expected to begin around 4:00 PM on Wednesday. The demonstration is linked to the arrest of an ultra-Orthodox draft dodger who testified in an investigation by the Lahav 433 unit. Authorities warn that Highway 4, between the Aluf Sadeh and Em HaMoshavot interchanges, may be closed in both directions due to the protest. Additional traffic congestion and possible blockages are expected on Jabotinsky Road in Bnei Brak.
