Police Prepare for Heavy Traffic and Roadblocks Ahead of Ultra-Orthodox Protest in Bnei Brak

The Israeli police have announced preparations for an anticipated ultra-Orthodox protest in Bnei Brak scheduled to begin around 4:00 PM on Wednesday. Due to expected disruptions, traffic arrangements in and around the city, including entry and exit points, may be altered. The police recommend that the public use alternative routes and stay updated on traffic conditions throughout the day.

Traffic congestion and roadblocks are expected on key routes such as Highway 4 between Aluf Sadeh and Em HaMoshavot in both directions, as well as on Jabotinsky Street in Bnei Brak. Police officers from the Dan District will be directing traffic and maintaining public order during the demonstration. However, authorities have urged the public to avoid these areas to prevent inconvenience and potential safety risks.

The police emphasized their recognition of the right to protest as a fundamental democratic principle, allowing demonstrations as long as they comply with the law. Nevertheless, they warned that any disturbances, violations of public order, or actions endangering public safety or freedom of movement will not be tolerated.
