IDF Imposes Military Closure in West Bank After Israelis Seize Palestinian Homes
The Israel Defense Forces announced that in recent weeks, reports have emerged of Israeli civilians entering and taking over Palestinian homes and lands in the villages of Qawzah and Jalud, located in the Samaria Division of the West Bank. In response, the IDF imposed a closed military zone order restricting access to non-residents in the area. The military described these actions as illegal, disgraceful, and unacceptable.
Yesterday, Israeli civilians were identified attempting to enter the restricted zone concealed inside an ambulance, which had been authorized for passage. IDF forces and Judea and Samaria police conducted a thorough inspection of the ambulance to prevent unauthorized entry.
