Haifa Launches First Food Festival Featuring Top Chefs and Affordable Dishes

Haifa is inaugurating its first-ever food festival from August 11 to 13 at the Sami Ofer Stadium plaza, showcasing the city's vibrant culinary scene. The event will bring together dozens of restaurants, renowned chefs, food trucks, and stalls from across Israel, offering hundreds of dishes priced up to 45 shekels. The festival highlights Haifa's diverse food culture, blending traditional Arab, Japanese, and international cuisines alongside beloved street foods.

Prominent chefs participating include Israel Aharoni, who returns to his childhood neighborhood with popular dishes from "Aharoni's," and Moshik Roth, presenting his sophisticated FRANKO hot dog project. Other notable chefs are Guy Gamzu, Avi Biton, Rachel Ben Alul, Hamudi Okla, Sherry and Michal Ansky, and social media star Robi Michael, who will debut his kubbeh at an official food truck.

The festival also honors local Haifa culinary icons, featuring legendary falafel, Tel Haifa ramen dim sum, Georgian khachapuri, Druze laffa bread, and Mexican street food. A large sweets area will offer hot knafeh, Turkish ice cream, bubble waffles, Dutch waffles, and churros. The event runs daily from 6 PM to 11 PM with free entry, inviting visitors to enjoy Haifa’s rich food heritage and innovative gastronomy in a festive atmosphere.
