Israeli Police Find Loaded Gun Hidden in Northern Kindergarten Wall

Israeli police officers from the Jeser al-Zarqa station discovered a loaded firearm concealed inside a kindergarten wall in the northern village on Tuesday morning. The weapon was hidden inside a sock, along with a loaded magazine and an additional full magazine of bullets. The police arrested a local resident suspected of hiding the weapon, and his detention was extended until the following day.

The search was part of a proactive and focused operation in the village, conducted in cooperation with Jeser al-Zarqa police, Menashe riot police fighters, and Dror units from the Israel Prison Service. The police emphasized their strict stance against any criminal attempts to exploit educational institutions and spaces designated for children to hide weapons. They pledged to continue using all available means to uncover illegal arms and remove them from public areas and streets.
