LG Unveils OLED evo TVs with Enhanced Brightness and AI-Powered Viewing Experience
LG has launched its new OLED evo G6 series TVs, featuring advanced Brightness Booster Ultra technology that increases brightness up to 3.9 times compared to standard OLED screens. Select models have earned the Reflection Free Premium certification from Intertek, ensuring clear images even in well-lit rooms. The OLED technology allows each pixel to illuminate independently, delivering true blacks, high contrast, and rich colors.
At the core of these TVs is the new α11 AI Processor Gen 3, which boasts 5.6 times the neural processing power of its predecessor. Its Dual AI Engine reduces noise while preserving natural textures and details, and intelligently adjusts picture and sound based on content type and viewing conditions. Larger 77- and 83-inch models also incorporate Hyper Radiant Color and an advanced OLED panel, achieving brightness up to 3.2 times higher than regular OLEDs.
The OLED evo lineup supports 4K gaming with refresh rates up to 165Hz, 0.1ms response time, NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Auto Low Latency Mode. It has also received VESA’s Gaming DSC certification for smooth motion and fast response at high refresh rates.
LG’s 2026-2027 OLED evo TVs offer a personalized user experience through the Multi AI platform, integrating Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot for voice queries and direct TV information. AI Voice ID recognizes users by voice to customize their My Page with tailored apps and recommendations. Additional AI features include In This Scene for real-time content info, AI Picture Wizard, and AI Sound Wizard for personalized settings. User data is protected by LG Shield security on webOS 26, which won a CES 2026 Innovation Award.
The series comes with a five-year warranty, including three full years plus two additional years on the panel.
