Man Indicted for Threatening Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan Police Commander During Ultra-Orthodox Protests
A 44-year-old man from Modi'in Illit has been indicted for threatening the commander of the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan police station, Deputy Superintendent Yuval Shavit, during ultra-Orthodox protests against military conscription on Highway 4. The threats were made via a WhatsApp group where the suspect posted several menacing messages, including calling the commander a "terrorist" and stating "measure for measure". Upon receiving information about the threats, police launched an investigation, arrested the suspect, and he was detained. Following the investigation, the police filed charges against him for making threats.
