Russian Historian Artyom Kirpichnikov Disappears After Arriving in Israel

Artyom Kirpichnikov, a Russian historian and author known for his pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel views, reportedly disappeared shortly after arriving in Israel in early August 2026. According to reports from Russian media and social networks, Kirpichnikov made initial contact upon landing but has not been heard from since. Born in Leningrad in 1975, Kirpichnikov previously lived in Israel for about 15 years, during which he studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and served in the Israeli military before returning to Russia.
