Israeli police have arrested three young men suspected of setting fire to the "Magia" event hall in Tiberias. The incident occurred during the night before July 12, 2026, and was reported to police early that morning as a suspected break-in. Upon arrival, officers from the Northern District found the hall ablaze and launched an investigation using technological means to identify the suspects.
The suspects include a 19-year-old resident of Lod and two men aged 22 and 18 from Bat Yam. All three were detained following the investigation. The Northern District Prosecutor's Office, represented by Attorney Ohad Cohen, will file charges against them at the Nazareth-Nof HaGalil District Court. Alongside the indictment, the prosecution will request their detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
Police emphasized their commitment to thoroughly prosecuting those involved and maintaining public safety and property security. The case remains under active investigation as authorities work to ensure accountability.
