Arabs Attack Shirat Zion Hill in West Bank, Vehicle Damaged and Flag Vandalized

On Saturday night, residents of Shirat Zion Hill in the West Bank discovered hundreds of improvised metal screws and spikes deliberately placed along the main route leading to grazing lands. A local off-road vehicle returning from a daily patrol suffered tire punctures due to these hidden hazards. Additionally, a large flag displayed at the site was torn down and vandalized.

The affected path serves as the primary access route to much of the hill's grazing areas and is regularly used by security forces conducting operations and arrests in nearby villages of Qadum and Beit Lid. This incident is part of a recent escalation of terror activities originating from the adjacent village, including multiple laser pointer attacks targeting residents and vehicles on Route 60, as well as attempted assaults on the local shepherd.

Residents called on the Israeli military and security forces to enter the village and apprehend those responsible, emphasizing the sharp rise in terror acts and the need for a strong response to prevent more serious incidents. They affirmed their commitment to continue settling the land despite ongoing attacks.
