Jewish Settlers Torch Vehicles and Spray Revenge Graffiti in West Bank Amid Rising Violence

In the early hours between Monday and Tuesday, Jewish settlers set fire to several vehicles in the area between the Palestinian villages of Jalud and Talfit near the Israeli settlement of Shiloh in the Binyamin region of the West Bank. Alongside the arson, graffiti including the words "Revenge," "Avi Go Home," and Star of David symbols were sprayed on site. The reference to "Avi" targets Central Command Chief Avi Blot. This incident is part of a recent wave of similar violent acts in the area.

About a week and a half earlier, Palestinians reported multiple violent attacks across the West Bank. In the village of Kusra, a mosque was set on fire with the phrase "Revenge Binyahu" sprayed on its walls, referring to Binyahu Malt, a retired sergeant major killed in a recent incident. Another mosque in the village of Kur was also torched, with graffiti stating "Jewish blood is not cheap." Additionally, engineering tools were burned at the Ein Samiya quarry, and an arson attempt was made on a residential home in Beit Furiq, where gasoline was poured on doors and windows but the fire did not ignite. Graffiti on the house read "Jews Wake Up" and "Death to the Enemy."

These violent acts followed a deadly incident near the Shiloh settlement, where two Israeli security personnel, retired sergeant major Binyahu Malt and staff sergeant Yuval Ezra, were killed. The attack occurred during a hiking trip when a Palestinian assailant stole a weapon from one of the security forces, opened fire, and was subsequently neutralized. The recent escalation highlights ongoing tensions and retaliatory violence in the West Bank region.
