Ta'al Rejects Proposed Arab Party Alliance, Halts Talks on Joint List

The Ta'al party, led by Ahmad Tibi, has rejected the proposed framework for forming a joint electoral list with Hadash and Balad, announcing a halt to negotiations. The main point of contention was the placement of Ta'al representatives on the list. Under the proposal presented to the parties, Tibi was placed second, but another Ta'al candidate was positioned only ninth. Ta'al demanded higher placements for its representatives, leading to the breakdown of talks.
